PGANE Submits Letter to MA Governor Healey Regarding Advanced Clean Truck Implementation
PGANE has submitted a letter and is actively lobbying Governor Healey and Secretary Tepper, requesting an exemption for the propane industry from the Advanced Clean Truck (ACT) and Heavy Duty Omnibus (HDO) rules. PGANE’s Letter highlights key reasons for the exemption, including hazmat concerns, payload and range
limitations, the need for critical delivered fuels, the lack of electric alternatives or HDO engines, and the potential increased costs to consumers. Special thanks to Andy Johnson for his technical assistance in preparing the comments.
